TALBERT'S MEDICAL BILLING

Mary L. Talbert's drive and passion to establish a successful career began following her experience of divorce and the un-expectancies of becoming a single parent. In the process of redefining her goals, Mary began working full-time, while maintaining the obligations of her children. Her ability to multi-task geared into over drive as she balanced life as a working single mother, which included her firm belief of hands-on support in their education and extracurricular activities.

During the years following, Mary gained diverse administrative skills while operating in the areas of medical office administration as well as, medical billing and coding. During the course of her employment Mary served as a great asset by utilizing her tremendous work ethics to contribute toward the business growth and success of her employers. She re-married and continued her education, earning her associates degree in Computer Applications.

Mary's ability to bring effective resources and advancement to her employers was evident. Her husband, Jasper Talbert, encouraged her to utilize her giftedness in the medical business and administration to establish her own corporation. With great faith and hope, Mary put a plan in motion. In 1992 she launched her company, Talbert's Medical, the first company in the history of Louisiana to receive a SBA loan. Her company provides service to a diverse group of physicians and medical facilities.

For the past 30 years Mary has utilized her diverse administration skills, along with her admissions and marketing experience to train and equip others in the field of Medical Billing and Coding. She has also served as an Instructor of Medical Billing and Coding for several years at Sowela Technical Community College, located in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Throughout her career of Medical Billing and Coding, Mary has left companies to excel and achieve their business goals. This is made possible through her passion for equality, focus on excellence and productivity, along with outstanding customer service, and employers' satisfaction.

In addition to her operating responsibilities, Mary is a community activist who sponsors and partners with Non-Profit, Faith Based, Leadership Development, and Charitable Organizations.
